Little Caesars Arena
Weezer: The Gathering is coming to Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026. Weezer is the world’s biggest alternative rock band to have written so many hit songs over the last few decades. With a catalog of hits including ‘Buddy Holly’, ‘Say It Ain’t So,’ and ‘Island in the Sun.' They will be joined by The Shins on this special night, bringing their unique brand of quirky Indie rock to the stage. Rounding off an amazing night of Alternative rock will be Silversun Pickups, bringing their own brand of atmospheric Alternative rock to the Little Caesars Arena stage.

Get ready for a special evening of music at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 as Weezer, The Shins and Silversun Pickups come to town as part of Weezer: The Gathering tour. This evening of music by three of the biggest names in alternative rock will be a thrill for music enthusiasts of all ages from all over the region to experience together in an electric arena all night long of alternative rock.
The show for the night is Weezer: The Gathering, Silversun Pickups and The Shins open up for Weezer on The Gathering tour. As the headlining act, Weezer brings years of alternative rock to the stage. Weezer can go back to their self-titled debut in 1994 with songs such as “Buddy Holly,” “Say It Ain’t So,” “Island in the Sun,” and “Hash Pipe” as well as their current work of songs that are very catchy rock songs with meaningful lyrics. As one of the multi-platinum alternative rock bands from around the world, Weezer has a fan base of all ages that will love to sing along when the opening guitar riffs of a Weezer song start playing.
Next up will be The Shins- Their Indie Rock is infectious. A veteran act on the alternative rock scene, The Shins have been performing for fans for the last decade or so. The Shins perform songs such as “New Slang”, “Caring Is Creepy” and “Simple Song”. All of these songs are perfect for old and new fans alike to sing along to. The Shins lead singer James Mercer has a one of a kind voice and writes very complex songs. The band’s work has received critical acclaim throughout the years. They will be sure to put on a wonderful show, with amiable moments to take in, while showing off their unique Indie Rock sound in the midst of the incredible venue of an arena.
First up will be Silversun Pickups, the only band on the bill to perform that night as a three piece. With that said, their sound and live show is packed full of the layers that a normal 4 piece band would bring to the table, often creating a huge, and often, intense sound. Their alternative rock sound has often been known to be very dreamy and atmospheric at times, yet they can also shift gear to a more, rock driven sound that gets the crowds on their feet, singing along to songs such as ‘Panic Switch’, and ‘Lazy Eye’.
Little Caesars Arena is a venue for concerts in the site of Weezer, The Shins and Silversun Pickups concert is located in the downtown Detroit, Michigan area. There are many different seating sections for this venue including boxes, suites and clubs. This is a very large venue holding up to 20,000 at concert events. With very good sound and production throughout the venue as well as concessions and restrooms close to seating it makes for a very good venue to see a live concert.
The Weezer concert is at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit, Michigan. The area where Weezer will be performing has several off-site parking garages. In addition, there is also street parking throughout the downtown Detroit area.
