Little Caesars Arena Rules

For the safety and security of everyone at the little Caesars arena, the venue operates some strict policies. Please read through the following rules and regulations and observe them closely during your visit. Failure to do so may result in ejection from the venue.

Little Caesars Arena maintains comprehensive policies to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all its guests. You’ll want to familiarize yourself with these rules before your visit to avoid delays at security checkpoints. Understanding what you can and cannot bring into the arena helps you plan accordingly and makes your entry and exit more efficient.

Bag Policy

You must adhere to Little Caesars Arena’s strict bag policy for security purposes. The venue prohibits all bags, purses, and clutches larger than 4 inches by 6 inches by 1.5 inches. 

Medical necessity bags receive exceptions to this policy. You can bring diaper bags, breast pumps, oxygen tanks, insulin, EpiPens, and other medical devices, provided bags measure smaller than 14 inches by 14 inches by 6 inches. All bags require X-ray screening at designated entrances (Meijer Entry NW or Comerica Entry NE) and may be subject to searches.

Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted.

Prohibited Item Policy

You cannot bring certain items into Little Caesars Arena. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • » Air horns and noisemakers
  • » Professional cameras with interchangeable lenses
  • » Outside food and beverages and coolers
  • » Umbrellas, selfie sticks, and laser pointers
  • » Weapons of any kind

The venue maintains a complete list of prohibited items, and security reserves the right to refuse anything deemed hazardous. You might also want to take note of the venue’s dress code, which prohibits clothing with obscene or offensive messages. 

Guest Conduct Policy

When you attend events at Little Caesars Arena, you’re expected to maintain appropriate behavior throughout your visit. The arena requires guests to remain in their ticketed seats and prohibits standing or sitting in the aisles and stairways for safety reasons. You will not be allowed to use flash photography or video recorders during most events, though certain point-and-shoot cameras are generally permitted for sporting events.

The venue is completely non-smoking, including electronic cigarettes and vaping devices. The no re-entry policy means that once you exit the venue, you cannot return, so plan accordingly. 

You must be at least 21 years old to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages, and you may need to show valid government-issued photo identification. The venue’s alcohol service cutoff times vary by event.

Age Restriction Policy

Families with young children should note that the venue hosts events appropriate for all ages as well as concerts and shows that may feature adult-only content. The parents or guardians are responsible for supervising the child at all times, including ensuring that the child behaves appropriately and remains seated during the performances.

Photography Equipment

Cameras with detachable lenses under 80 mm are allowed into the Little Caesars Arena on game days.
No video recorders or flash photography is permitted.
Professional cameras are prohibited.
Camera policy may vary for events, concerts and other shows.
