A global pop phenomenon is coming to Michigan! Wednesday, August 27, Benson Boone (“Beautiful Things,” “Ghost Town”) will perform featured hits from his new album, American Heart, at the Little Caesars Arena. Announced after Boone’s viral “Bohemian Rhapsody” set with Queen’s Brian May in Coachella 2025, the Night Street/Warner record will arrive ahead of the 30-city US-to-Canada tour on June 20, featuring two singles from the Billboard Top 40 charts. “Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else” and “Mystical Magical” (previously the ‘moonbeam ice cream song’) front a ten-track catalog of Americana/Springsteen-inspired bops. Here, the Monroe-born singer-songwriter takes a more “retro vibe” approach than his usual brand of floaty pop-rock anthems. Previews include the ELO-esque “Mr. Electric Blue,” the synth-laden “Man in Me,” and the ‘Killers-ish’ closing track “Young American Heart.”
